Andras Gyorok Psychotherapy

Integrative Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Lecturer

I’m Andras Gyorok — a psychotherapist, supervisor, and lecturer based in London. I offer psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and consultancy to individuals and organisations, both in person and online.

My work is rooted in the belief that change comes from understanding ourselves more deeply — not by trying to fix symptoms, but by paying attention to the patterns, histories, and relationships that shape how we live and what we believe to be true and meaningful. Whether you’re seeking therapy for yourself, supervision for your clinical work, or reflective input for your team or organisation, I aim to offer a steady, engaged space where honest thinking can happen.

I work integratively, drawing largely on psychodynamic and existential approaches, and my style is collaborative and direct. I don’t see therapy or supervision as something formulaic — each relationship is different, and I take time to understand what you need and how we can work together meaningfully.

I offer all services in both English and Hungarian.

Road Trip

Integrative Relational Psychotherapy

How I work

I offer psychotherapy that prioritises what is beneath the surface, at the root of your experience, going beyond mere symptom relief. My work is relational, integrative, and grounded in psychodynamic and existential thinking. I focus on what’s unfolding between us in the room, as well as the deeper patterns shaped by your history. This may often take time and a commitment to the work — it’s about creating a space where you can be honest, uncertain, and curious. We explore what’s painful, stuck, or unclear, and we do so at your pace. Whether you’re dealing with long-standing struggles or a growing sense that something isn’t right, I offer a steady, thoughtful space to make sense of it together.

Therapy is available in both English and Hungarian, depending on your preference.

What to expect

Assessment and Ongoing Work

The first session is an opportunity for us to get a sense of whether working together feels right. It’s a space for you to speak freely, and for us to explore what brings you to therapy at this point in your life. We’ll discuss your current difficulties, relevant history, and what you’re hoping for from the work.

If we decide to continue, we’ll agree on a working arrangement that suits your needs — whether open-ended or time-limited. I find that many people tend to work longer term, allowing space for patterns and dynamics to unfold over time. Others, however, have something more specific in mind and opt for brief work. Regular reviews help us reflect on how the work is going and whether it’s still useful.

Whatever your starting point, you’re welcome to bring hesitations, questions, or uncertainties into the process at any stage. Therapy doesn’t follow a fixed path, and we can think together about what kind of work will be most supportive for you.
